Rural Mutual Insurance has been a well-known and stalwart insurance company in Wisconsin for over 80 years, communicating and educating customers and prospects through face-to-face communication and traditional advertising. That was all well and good, but times change, and Rural Mutual recognized the need to elevate their digital presence while educating their customers and prospects on the importance of insurance coverage.
While there had been numerous visits to the Rural Mutual Insurance farm-related blog content, STIR saw an opportunity to expand the educational content to showcase other core lines of business. In doing this, Rural Mutual Insurance would be able to educate and change perceptions of their existing customers and prospects they had been missing out on communicating with.
STIR recommended a phased inbound marketing campaign that would support three core lines of business – Farm, Business, and Personal (Auto & Home). We helped write content pertinent to the target audience, developed insight sheets which uncovered and detailed more about the topics, and developed landing pages to capture more leads. Additionally, STIR created a Hubspot-based marketing automation program which aided in the tracking of leads and engagement throughout the customer experience.
